Coleshill Youth Brass Band en concert à Arromanches

COLESHILL YOUTH BRASS was formed in 2004 as a feeder band for the long-established COLESHILL TOWN BAND (which was formed in 1902). Over the twenty years since its formation, CYB has enabled a large number of young people the opportunity to learn to play a brass instrument and enjoy being part of a brass band. In 2015, the Coleshill Band organisation was awarded the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service in acknowledgement of the opportunities the band had presented to young people in the local community. CYB has become a very successful concert and contest band. CYB performs its own concerts to large, enthusiastic audiences and participates in local and national competitions and festivals, often being awarded prizes for both its musical and entertainment programmes.
